The Island House

Coming Home to the Coast

Perched atop the rocky shoreline and connected to the mainland by a private footbridge, the Island House offers a front-row seat to the rhythms of the coast. Once part of a historic working waterfront, it now serves as a peaceful retreat where guests can wake to sweeping views of Mount Desert Island, watch the tide roll in, and experience a quieter side of Maine.
