Pre- & Post-Wedding Gatherings at The Foggy Pearl
You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol for these smaller, more intimate gatherings, with a few simple guidelines to keep everything smooth and safe:
These gatherings are best suited for smaller groups (generally under 30 guests)
They should feel casual and low-key, rather than a full-hosted event
Alcohol cannot be sold (no cash bars), and all guests must be 21+
No hard alcohol—beer, wine, cider, and hard seltzers only
For slightly larger groups or certain setups, we may require a licensed bartender.
Booking & Tours

Enjoying the Property
Can guests swim or explore the grounds? You can comfortably explore the rocky Maine coast during low tide out beside the island house. Swimming is not permitted, as we are connected to the Mount Desert Narrows, where the current can be strong and swift. We ask that everyone respect the working waterfront and the surrounding ecosystem.
Can we visit again before our event? Of course. Once booked, couples are welcome to return to the property to see updates, walk through layouts, or just soak in the space before the big day.
