From Lobster Pound to Coastal Gathering Space

What began as a working lobster pound in the 1940s has evolved into a space for meaningful gatherings, celebrations, and time spent by the water and among the old forest and its wildlife.

We’re proud stewards of this land—honoring its history while caring for it today. The Foggy Pearl remains deeply connected to Maine’s rhythms, and we’re grateful to share it with those who value authenticity, intention, and place.

With Gratitude

We are deeply grateful to Kim Ford, who grew up on this property with her family. Kim has generously shared her time, memories, stories, and photographs—helping us honor the history of this place and carry its legacy forward with care.
